GARF'S SIPHON MAKING LESSON = bubbles and sun
LEROY@GARF.ORG

These siphons solve two problems. The other ways to keep the water levels constant are glass drilling and overflow boxes. By using siphons on these three 125 gallon tanks we only need one overflow box.
This image shows the finished siphon in place. The water level on the left is six inches lower than the tank on the right. We have just added the siphon. It is attached to the powerhead with a venturi. The venturi creates a vacuum as water passes though the small tube with a hole for the airline tubing.

1LEVELS

This house is set up using siphones. We will drill the tanks that we will use in the final floor plan.
