GEOTHERMAL AQUACULTURE RESEARCH FOUNDATION
In this photo you can once again see our hermits in training. They are worth their weight in gold. They can get in all the nooks and crannies. The only place there is any sign of algae is in the over flow box where the janitors can not get. I claim this as my algae scrubber. I look at these pictures and it pulls tightly on my heart. For these colors are real and the animals are real and because we care for them as much as we do they display such beauty.

Ahermit

These corals are in my oldest tank that now is reaching the seven-year mark. I never dreamed, nor did anyone else, that I could carry this 55 gallon reef aquarium as far as I have . Honestly, how can one stop believing when the animals continue to thrive and depend on us? If you care for them properly they will reflect their appreciation back to you.

This tank is a sps coral forest. Every one of the sps corals were no bigger than 1/2 inch when I first placed them in the tank. Since that time I have propagated them and I have shared them with LeRoy. He in turn propagates them and then shares them with you.

If you look up towards the top of the picture you will notice that I do rely on strong current, but I do not have it directly blasting the corals. Even in this old established tank you can not find even the slightest sign of any algae.

This almost seven-year-old tank has been so trouble free, and it is such a joy to work with. One of the best ways to truly see its beauty is to lift the hood and look down on her as if looking at your own private tide tool.
