|In this picture you see what Leonel did when he came back from his vacation in Mexico. He could not believe how much some of the animals had grown. The tank was taking on a life of its own, and Leonel was more encouraged than ever to make this a show piece for GARF.
Nothing had died, and everything had grown. Now his mission was focused as mine was years ago. The mission was to get our hands on every animal we could until we had no room left for more.
I could see the joy he took in coming into work each day. It was nice having someone comment on his tank (some of them had tired to achieve his results) but never quite did it. The problem some of them had was they were listening to too many people.
Once again I will voice this statement, GARF's way is not the only way but it works: even the first time....! I am sure it will IT WILL WORK for you!
I hope, we hope that these pictures will be the proof it takes to make many new reefers join the ranks. For we need all of you to be the voice for the wild reefs that are dying at alarming rates and miles at a time in all parts of the World. We have learned that peopleonly care about things they know something aboout, and when they see a captive reef they often exclaim "I thought corals were rocks - but they are alive - they look like flowers."
This tank at three months old is amazing and the growth after this stage is even more amazing. Please take time to look at each stage of its development for the only way you can do this is through these pictures. You must remember to enjoy all stages of your tank for each day it changes and the miracles keep unfolding. Good job Leonel !! , and the best is yet to come.
FOR THE LAST 5 YEARS WE HAVE WORKED VERY HARD TO PURCHASE, TRADE, AND SAVE AS MANY TYPES OF CORALS AS WE CAN.
We will continue to provide the most current data on reef farming for both education and profit.
Sometimes I forget how fun it can be to watch the Reef Janitorstm as they go about their duties. It is important to have the mixture of crabs and snails custom picked for your reef aquarium. Both Leonel and Norm are experts in algae control. You can be sure that they will choose the right mixture from GARF's extensive collection of algae eaters.
The GARF staff knows that each aquarium is different and they will ask about the size, lighting, and age of your reef. Summer is the most important time to add extra janitorstm because there is more light and the reef will be a bit warmer. When you order any Reef Janitor pactm you can pick a free coral or two pounds of GARF's FAMOUS GRUNGE LIVE SAND ACTIVATOR Reef Janitors tm or call toll free 800-600-6163.

|Many of the rare corals are offered to our members for 2 years before they are put on sale. We will soon have an E-mail list that will list the rarest color forms of sps corals and soft corals such as Xenia and Mushrooms.|
