We use wire cutters to break the fragments from the brood stock. It is best to twist the pliers and not cut the frags. |
We put the first drop of glue on the Reef PlugTM and then we harden it in reef water |
We use GARF reef glue to hold the frags on the Reef PlugsTM until the base plate grows |
We use a piece of plastic to hold the drop of glue that we put on the bottom of the fragment |

We gently hold the frag and then we drag it through the glue to apply glue to the broken skeleton |
We then touch the glued frag to the Reef PlugTM and twist to blend the glue with the slightly hardened glue on the plug |
We then put the finished fragment into a hole in the coral rack. This frag will be ready in several weeks. |
