Cover the rocks with with more crushed coral and any of the things you want on the surface of your rocks. This is the time you can poke holes in the rocks. We did not do this on these rocks, but we do leave holes in all of our Aragocrete™ sculptures. As you make the holes, pour in dry crushed coral to keep the holes open. Try to make the holes in the thick part of the rock. You need to leave the rock in the box longer if the holes make it fragile. This is the hardest thing for me to do. I break a lot of rocks, because I don't wait.
The good thing is that the broken pieces still make great live rocks.
