SALLY JO'S SPRING GREETING 2008

We begin with a tremendous respect for Mother Nature herself, how deeply complicated and magical this daily dance is. In the ocean the live rock is the solid foundation for corals to grow on. In the ocean live rock is the home to so many fish, they play hide and seek and find the perfect home to build their nests to start new generations.

In the ocean the corals have a true partnership with an algae, for the corals catch the light that feeds the algae. In turn the algae feeds the coral. In the ocean no space in its vastness is wasted and no created resource was not planned to be. In the ocean, even the fish poop is put to great use, feeding our corals, providing for the growth and health of the coral forests.

This brings me back to spring and LeRoy. We have to plan spring cleaning day for the days LeRoy is not here and often I hear my staff taking bets on which piece Leroy will find a new and valuable use for. Again, I state I love spring.
