![]() This picture shows one of the many Lemnalia species that are now growing in the reef systems at GARF. The Lemnalia are an easy to grow group of soft corals. Most of the Lemnalia range from yellow to burnt orange color, and they're very easy to propagate. These corals have numerous hard spicules and they are one of the few soft corals that can be super glued directly to the live rock. The Lemnalia in this picture has been cut several times during the last year. Lemnalia are fast growing and hardy, and they make an excellent first choice if you're starting to work with predatory soft corals. Lemnalia are very closely related to Capnella and Nephthea. |
