THIS IS A CLOSE UP OF THE NEW ARCH THAT KAREN MADE FOR THE
150 GALLON ARAGOCRETETM AND GLUE REEF. THIS PICTURE SHOWS SOME OF THE SPS CORALS WE HAVE GLUED TO THIS ARCH UNDERWATER.

arch rock with sps corals

All of the corals in this tank have been grown in our reef aquariums.
This tank has 8 - 4' VHO lights and a Gemini pump. The reef is only 8 months old
and we are making many sps coral cuttings.

150 gallon reef aquarium

THIS IS A VIEW OF THE LEFT END OF THE 150 GALLON REEF IN DOUG'S OFFICE SHOWING HOW THE NEW ARCH IS PLACED. ALL OF THE 8 MONTH OLD ARAGOCRETETM ROCKS ARE FULLY COVERED WITH CORALLINE ALGAE. NOTICE THE OTHER RUBBLE CORAL BRANCHES WE HAVE ADDED. WE STAND THESE UP SO WE CAN GLUE SPS FRAGS TO THEM.

When you are gluing underwater with Super Reef Glue you can do many things that are impossible with epoxy. We often glue several 1/4" frags from the same head of coral to a rubble coral branch. These frags are attached one inch apart and the bases soon grow back together. This is a very good way to create a stunning coral colony that looks much older than it is. The Super Reef Glue also allows us to quickly remove any corals that grow too large. We can remove frags from these corals and then move them to a new position.
