This photograph is from the lower right corner of the 150 gallon AragocreteTM and glue reef in Doug's office. This tank is eight months old. It is made of 90 percent hand made rock. It has two compound plenums with geofabric mesh. The gravel is CaribSea Seaflor. All of the rocks are almost covered with many colors of coralline algae. This tank now has 80 + types of sps coral in it.

Aragocrete cave rock 12 weeks pld 11/24/97

ALL OF THESE ROCKS ARE HAND MADE. THE CUTTINGS ARE FROM SALLY JO'S REEF AQUARIUMS.

This reef has 2 Maxi-Jet 1000 powerheads, one Gemini pump, and three Rio 1700 pumps. Two of the Rio pumps are in the sump with the heater. There are eight 4 foot 110 watt VHO bulbs. There is a venturi skimmer. This reef was started with 4 bulbs and the rest were added 3 months later after the coralline had covered 40 percent of the rock. The reflector is a piece of curved Lexan Mirror that works great.
