I AM CUTTING CORALS FROM MY FIRST REEF AQUARIUM
I am starting to make cuttings for my new cutting tanks. I have made over 700 new baby corals. Many of the corals I made last semester are now ready for their new homes.

My oldest reef aquarium is a little over three years old. It has mothered many babies which I have shared with people across the Country. Many of these animals in this picture are being propagated by me. I started out less than a week and a half ago cutting many of my animals and have over 800 babies looking for a new home.I have over 190 different species of corals that are thriving.
NOTE THE FAST SPREADING BASE PLATE ON THE PURPLE ACROPORA. I GLUED A FRAG ON THE BACK GLASS AND GREW THIS COLONY IN JUST A FEW MONTHS.

I am hoping that by sharing the pictures of the animals you will be able to see coral placement. It is amazing to me how fast these corals grow after pruning them. I am working extremely hard to grow out brood stock for the individuals who are interested in farming. Most of the animals when first placed in my tank were less than one quarter inch long. These captive raised corals will grow faster and survive better than ocean collected corals.

THIS PICTURE SHOWS THE PAVONA SPS CORAL GROWING ON MY OVERFLOW BOX. NOTE THE SHAPE OF THE CUTS IN THE PLASTIC FRONT PIECE.
These pictures do not do this tank justice. I am always trying hard to provide you with as much information as I possibly can with the hopes of people not repeating the same mistakes. Many of the corals in my tanks are extremely rare and have never been released from GARF before.
