I HAVE TOLD MATT TO MAKE A PACKAGE FROM MY CUTTING TANKS OF THE BEST SELLING AND FASTEST GROWING BROOD STOCK CORALS FOR NEW FARMERS. CALL MATT TOLL FREE. 800-600-6163 On valentines day 1999 LeRoy setup four new systems in my office. One of them is dedicated as another show tank. This was much needed because as all my tanks develop many of the faster growing soft corals get moved to another system. If you were to visit my office you would see my oldest tank is over 3 years old, the next one is over two years old and my newest system is five weeks old. The tank that is only five weeks old has at least 50 different animals already thriving in it. The biggest surprise was the three tiered tanks that LeRoy made with his own hands. Each tank holds 40 gallons of water and house about 300 -400 holes for babies to be grown out on plugs. He spent countless hours making this very special valentines present for me. Other than the gift of my husbands love, no greater gift has been given to me than when LeRoy forced me to start my first reef tank. Just like gardening if your not careful it grows on you and then you realize the demand for your time. :) Many people have stepped in my office and asked me how much money would it cost to have a tank like mine, I smile and answer honestly that it did not happen with money alone, time is the most important item you can give. I do not believe that as many times as time has been described in words that anyone has been able to truly account for the price of an hour.
Note the large cut on the side. This cut has almost healed in only 6 days.
Some of the corals will fit in well with a newly setup reef tank others need a longer aged system. I have made several cuttings of my Xenias. I focused on the different types of Xenias and am extremely proud to be able to share them with the hobby. I have five different types of Xenia that I propagated directly from my tanks. These animals are sold faster than I can cut them. There are at least 12 of the elegant Fiji pompoms. This animal is many generations away from the original mother, which makes them easy to ship and to adapt to your tank conditions. I have the rarest of rare, that many of you have asked for. Yes, that Bail Xenia is almost ready for a new home and many of you have been waiting for this moment, there are about 15 of these. I became scared about a month ago when I found out that I was the only one who has this animal left from all the ones I shared with others. So I began to propagate it very successfully, once again it proves the further you get away from the mother the stronger the animal becomes. The mother was lost more than a year ago so these are true captive raised corals. LeRoy gave me a plug with probably no more than three polyps of the Bali no just two months ago and you can see for yourself how fast this animal grows. Please give us a call right away or you will have to wait for the next batch. - CALL MATT AT 1-800-600-6163 - We will not ship this animal in the summer months due to the fact it is hard to keep the box below 78 degrees. It is easier to keep a box warm in the winter then cool in the summer, now is the perfect time for shipping. I have fondly called one of the Xenias the Portland Pulser this guy never stops pulsing, and grows very fast and loves to be CUT. I also have the silver tip Xenia and the thin bar they will work well in farming tanks and tend to grow like weeds.
